Hassan and Muna are Somali Immigrants who have lived in the United States since 2004 when they immigrated from Kenya. They were approved in the Habitat Program in August, 2010. They are the proud parents of 7 children, 6 girls and 1 boy ranging from 8 months to 12 years old.

Currently, their family is living in a 3 bedroom, one bathroom apartment where they have experienced security issues in the past. The family can't wait move into a home that is in an environment that is more comfortable to raise a family! Shubeso and Muna believe becoming homeowners will give their children the best chance for a successful future!

LEED Checklist Online

We've begun the process of determining which LEED credits this project will attempt to earn. The initial checklist has been posted here. We will be working with a group of volunteers from USGBC-KY over the coming weeks to begin identifying key credits and work towards documenting their compliance.
