The American Institute of Architects-Central Kentucky Chapter (AIA-CKC) is excited to announce that we are partnering with Habitat for Humanity to sponsor a LEED-Certified Home this summer. This blog is created to allow communication between AIA-CKC members and those interested in donating or helping out with the project. The AIA-CKC will continue to provide updates on the Site location, LEED certification, and the overall construction process from start to finish.

LEED Checklist Online
We've begun the process of determining which LEED credits this project will attempt to earn. The initial checklist has been posted here. We will be working with a group of volunteers from USGBC-KY over the coming weeks to begin identifying key credits and work towards documenting their compliance. Chris Zitelli will be the Green Rater for this project, you can learn more about him and his company here.
