The American Institute of Architects-Central Kentucky Chapter (AIA-CKC) is excited to announce that we are partnering with Habitat for Humanity to sponsor a LEED-Certified Home this summer. This blog is created to allow communication between AIA-CKC members and those interested in donating or helping out with the project. The AIA-CKC will continue to provide updates on the Site location, LEED certification, and the overall construction process from start to finish.

Bronze Sponsor: CSI
Thanks to our latest Bronze Sponsor: Construction Specifications Institute of Louisville! CSI has supported Habitat for Humanity for several years through their annual Golf Outing co-sponsored with AIA. We are happy to have CSI continue their support both as a chapter, as well as individual member companies. CSI is a national association of more than 13,000 volunteers, including specifiers, architects, engineers, contractors, facility mangers, product representatives, manufacturers, owners and others who are experts in building construction and the materials used therein. Their mission is to advance building information management and education of project teams to improve facility performance. A special thanks to CSI's president Amanda Schoonover for her commitment to this project!
